Bean Burgers-Jesus Lives

My beans are soaking in the Dutch oven. Sometime today
I will cook them. Then once the beans have cooled, I'll
make bean burgers to take to East Lansing for Thanksgiving
dinner.

In everything I do and think, I thank Jesus.
He LIVES!!

Have a wonderful day, folks.

Allow Jesus in Your Hearts

Once you accept Jesus, see how your life changes.

Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."

Have a wonderful day, folks!

Anniversary with My Best Friend

Not every married couple can call their spouse their best friend,
but I do.

With Jesus centered at our marriage, we couldn't
have done it without him. I thank him for
being here with us.

Forty-one years is forever.

Have a wonderful day, folks!

FoodGawker

My favorite daughter-in-law pointed out this marvelous
website: foodgawker.com

I have made three items from this marvelous website: Falafel,
Bean burgers, and a brussel sprouts sauteed.

Try it, folks.

Have a wonderful day!

Applebee's Michigan

Yesterday was Veterans Day. For the first time
my husband and I accepted the offer from Applebee's
to have free lunch or dinner on this
establishment.

Oh, my, the food was delicious, and the staff showed honor
and respect to these veterans. All presented to us
in our Lapeer Applebee's.

Have a wonderful day, folks.

Happy Veterans Day

I am starting a day early to
wish all the veterans a
happy day.

Thank you to all the veterans, too.

This is my husband who served during the
Vietnam era, 66-68'. This picture
was taken of him in Korea. His tour was
Korea not Vietnam.

Have a marvelous evening, folks!
